From Runner @Dipti Ray
The last line responsibility is the “control” : I absolutely experienced it today. Today I went to oak tree road and it is 40 minutes drive from my place but somehow I realized that I am driving too fast on GSP and I might get caught by cop. I was trying to control myself a lot but still had to manage. So I learnt not only in the run but also after a long run( yesterday I had 17 miles run) , your system is full with so much excitement so if we don’t know how to control then in both the cases in run and outside of the run, we might screw ourselves .
From Coach Mo @Moninder Bhogal What it means is that if power is not used with control, it can result in disaster. As shown in the picture, in real running if you focus on pace only and do not focus ont he control, you will
1. Run out of fuel and You will be exhausted 🥱 and will struggle to reach the finish line.
2. Become prone to injury
3. End up crashing your body as the kinetic chain muscles will be in state of shock and will go into preventive mode
Famous quote from movie Spider-Man “With Great Power come great Responsibility”. In this case responsibility is the “Control”
