Sanjay Agarwal

Sanjay has been a lifelong sports fan. He captained his school and college table tennis teams and also represented his school in badminton. He considers himself an allrounder in cricket and loves fielding and wicketkeeping. He started running at age 36 to get back in shape and used to run 3-6 miles every day for 10 years before he was introduced to RHWB by his sister-in-law, Vandana Agrawal, who is herself a long-term RHWB runner with multiple full and half marathons under her belt.

Since joining RHWB, Sanjay has run 2 full and 3 half-marathons. Prior to joining RHWB, Sanjay did not follow a structured training program including strength training or stretching. As a result he had ongoing musculoskeletal pain, which miraculously disappeared after following RHWB’s structured training program under the watchful guidance of his coaches. This was complemented by the vast knowledge pool offered by RHWB via podcasts, resources on RHWB’s website, and RHWB’s WhatsApp communities.
Sanjay completed his MBBS from Mumbai and after completing residency in Medicine from New York, he practiced as a hospitalist all over the country for over 15 years before he started working full-time from home for a health insurance company.
Sanjay is an avid traveler and loves to hike in our National Parks and take walking tours in cities all over the world with his family and friends.
Sanjay is a fan of economic history and loves reading business and political news. He also enjoys listening to podcasts during his runs and his strength training sessions. These podcasts cover a wide range of topics focusing mainly on successful people in all walks of life and successful businesses.
Sanjay is extremely grateful to the RHWB community for its amazing human beings who walk the talk with their selfless support, encouragement, and guidance. Sanjay attributes this positive environment as the main reason why he loves being a part of RHWB. Inspired by these selfless individuals, Sanjay decided to give back to his community by joining as a coach with RHWB from Season 12.
