Sriram Seetharam
“When you want something, the whole universe
conspires for you to achieve it."
-The Alchemist (Paul Coelho)
This is Sriram, who lives in Westford, Massachusetts along with his wife Sushma, also a RHWB coach, and son Rahul. He is one of the many RHWB runners where the entire family and extended family is part of RHWB. Sriram is an entrepreneur and a product management professional working on payment technologies to simplify commerce. Of the many activities that Sriram does, he enjoys spending time coaching kids with Lego competitions and recreational cricket.

Sriram’s running journey is fairly recent, and started during the pandemic(2020 Season 4) when he was inspired by fellow Westford runners, Aparna and Srivatsan. While running is a solo sport that needs a lot of self motivation, grit and dedication, Sriram attributes the RHWB family, its social support network and structured training as the secret to coming back season after season and pushing to new heights.
Running is probably the only sport where the answer to “have you done this before?” is yes from most people you ask.
You won’t find such a positive response for swimming or football or similar sport. Yet, the ability to understand the body and perform at your best, without injuries, needs a good structured program and training.
RHWB coaches bring the RRCA structure to enable predictable running journey and enable a sense of accomplishment at the end of every season. Following the same principles, Sriram has completed multiple Half Marathons and 3 full marathons.

Sriram's goal when he joined RHWB was to complete a 5K by the end of the season. He ended up completing a Half Marathon by the end of the season and Full Marathon by next.
Sriram feels that "Nowhere do you get the opportunity to have a support system like RHWB that motivates and encourages you to deliver more than what you thought you could.”
