Ajay lives in Prosper, TX with his wife Sujata, an active runner in the RHWB family, and their two boys, ages 8 and 13. A passionate runner and fitness enthusiast, Ajay has been a dedicated member of RHWB since season 6. He joined the program without hesitation, having heard exceptional feedback from previous seasons, and looks back with immense gratitude for how it has positively impacted his life and his family’s.
Before joining RHWB, Ajay primarily focused on short-distance runs, like 5Ks and 10Ks. However, in October 2021, alongside his wife, he completed their first-ever half marathon, a milestone that ignited his passion for distance running. Since then, he has continued to challenge himself, transitioning into a full marathon runner. By Season 12, Ajay had completed ten half marathons and two full marathons, thriving on both the camaraderie of group runs and the peaceful solitude of long, steady-paced runs.
Ajay credits RHWB’s structured training program, along with the support and inspiration from the community and coaches, for his growth as a runner and a person. In addition to running, he enjoys playing tennis and spending quality time with friends. Professionally, Ajay works as a product manager with a major automotive OEM.
He is RRCA certified and coaching since Season 11, Ajay is always eager to share his experiences and insights with fellow runners, helping them achieve their goals just as he has. His coaching style is highly regarded by his runners, who appreciate his blend of patience, encouragement, and technical knowledge. He genuinely cares about each runner’s journey. He takes the time to understand individual goals and works with them to meet them at their own pace. Ajay’s calm demeanor and commitment to his athletes have made him an invaluable coach, creating a supportive environment where every runner feels motivated to succeed.
